What's New

August 29, 2008: Rock Abrasion Tool (RAT) data for MER-B, sols 1351-1440, are now online. Moessbauer and APXS EDR PDS labels for MER-B, sols 1351-1440, have been revised to correct a formatting error. Similar updates for MER-A RAT, Moessbauer and APXS EDRs are expected soon.

August 13, 2008: Mini-TES locator frames for sols 1351 through 1440 are now available.

August 12, 2008: MER Release 17 includes data acquired on sols 1351 through 1440 for both rovers. New data for all data sets are now online, with these exceptions:

• APXS Elemental Abundance data, Atmospheric Opacity data, Rock Abrasion Tool data, and Mini-TES locator frames for this release have not yet been delivered to PDS.

• The MER Analyst's Notebook is for scientists familiar with MER who want details of the science observations.
• The Planetary Image Atlas is for users who are looking primarily for image data.
• The Geosciences Node MER online data repository provides direct links into those MER data sets that reside at Geosciences.
• Other MER data sets reside at the Imaging Node, Atmospheres Node, and NAIF Node.
• The PDS Data Set Search Page is a top-level search of MER data resources throughout PDS, including the above items.
