MESSENGER: Advanced Products from MASCS, GRS, and NS

May 13, 2019. MESSENGER Advanced Products derived from MASCS, GRS, and NS data by investigator Noam Izenberg are released. These products were created external to the MESSENGER mission.

This is the second of two releases, containing the collections MEAP-2 and MEAP-5. The other three collections were released in March 2017. With this release the archive is complete.

MESSENGER Advanced Products (MEAP) consist of a PDS4 bundle of five data collections derived from MASCS, GRS, and NS data. They have been generated by a team of investigators led by Noam Izenberg, Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, and funded by the NASA Planetary Data Archiving, Restoration, and Tools program (PDART).

These products are archived using the PDS4 standard, unlike mission-generated MESSENGER products, which use the PDS3 standard.
